Privacy Policy

Who we are

Vidu Q4 (viduq4.xyz) is operated by viralshort.si studio, based in Hong Kong ("we", "us"). We are an independent website and are not affiliated with Vidu or ShengShu Technology. You can reach us at support@viduq4.xyz.

This policy explains what we collect when you use the site, what happens to the images, audio and prompts you submit, and who else processes them.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up we store your name, email address, whether your email is verified, your preferred language, the IP address you signed up from, and the marketing source of your visit (for example a utm_source link parameter). Passwords are stored only as secure hashes.

Generation records. For every video you create we store your prompt, the settings you chose (mode, duration, resolution, aspect ratio), the number of reference images and audio clips, the credits charged, the status of the job, and links to the finished video.

Uploaded files. See "Images, audio and generated videos" below.

Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe (and, where offered, other payment providers). We keep order records — plan or credit pack, amount, currency, status and the payment provider's reference — but we never receive or store your full card number.

Support messages. If you contact us, we keep your messages and our replies.

Cookies and local storage. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, a cookie that remembers your language, a cookie that records the marketing source of your first visit, and your browser's local storage for interface preferences such as the color theme. We do not currently use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy first.

Images, audio and generated videos

• Reference images, first-frame images and voice clips that you add to a generation are sent directly to the AI provider that runs the job (see below). We do not keep a copy of them on our servers after the request is sent.
• Subjects you save in "My subjects" are different: those images are uploaded to our cloud storage so you can reuse them. Removing a subject removes it from your library; email us if you also want the underlying files erased.
• Generated videos (and their cover images) are copied from the AI provider to our cloud storage, because provider links expire after 24 hours. They are served from unlisted links: anyone who has the exact link can open the file, so do not share links to videos you want to keep private.
• AI providers may screen prompts and uploads for prohibited content and can reject a job. Rejected or failed jobs are refunded automatically.

Third parties that process your data

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the site:

• Vidu Open Platform (ShengShu Technology, China) receives your prompts, reference and first-frame images, voice clips and generation settings in order to generate your videos. It is our primary provider.
• fal.ai (Features and Labels, Inc., USA) receives the same generation inputs when we route jobs to it instead of Vidu.
• Cloudflare stores saved subject images and generated videos (R2), delivers our transactional emails, and provides website infrastructure.
• Stripe and any other payment provider we offer receive the payment and billing details needed to process your payment.

Because Vidu processes generation requests in China and fal.ai in the United States, your generation inputs may be transferred to and processed in those countries. Each provider handles the data under its own terms and privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others.

How long we keep data

We keep your account, generation records, saved subjects and generated videos for as long as your account is active. Order records are kept for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data and stored files, except records we must keep by law.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@viduq4.xyz. We handle personal data in line with Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and the data protection laws that apply where you live. Depending on your location, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, provider credentials are stored encrypted, and access to our systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, let you know through the site or by email.
